In more ways than one. First off, how, fortheloveofjazzychickens, can abstract entities possibly be recognised by ANY judicial system as illegal? Secondly, this number came into existence on the VERY DAY homo sapiens sapiens devised a numerical system. We didn`t necessarily know it then, but it was available to us, had we had the means to calculate/process/whatever it. In other words, we`re talking about a number as old as (possibly older) than ancient Grecian civilization. We`re allowing history, language and invention to become a legal commodity...wtf? Can someone stop the world? I`d like to get off for a minute. Off to good `ol Wiki to gander at the origins of mathematics now.
